I’m a freelance Visual & UX/UI Designer.
I was born and raised in Taiwan. Being a passionate foodie, I appreciated the diverse food culture here in Vancouver. Since I love to eat, I learned how to cook so I can balance my dine-outs, make healthy food, and bake yummy goods myself. Raised in a frugal family and culture, I love dining deals. I use coupons and take advantage of deals whenever I can. In addition, I keep an eye on foodie events, promotions and restaurant openings.
From November 2011 to January 2012 I was the founder/organizer of the Food Bloggers Meetup, which aims to gather foodies and bloggers to share reviews, try great food and meet like-minded people.
You’ll probably find that a lot of my reviews are for desserts or certain types of restaurants…because unlike most food bloggers, I don’t eat “everything”.
Things I don’t eat / dislike / avoid: spicy, raw meat/fish, bacon, noodles, shelled seafood, and icing. I also avoid eating with hands (like sandwiches or burgers) because I don’t like to get my hands messy.
Favourite food: chocolate
Favourite type of cuisine: Asian
Favourite type of restaurant: Japanese izakaya
