Monks McQueens, Brunch, Vancouver

Monk McQueens doesn’t -sound- like a place I would go to, but I decided to give this place a try since I had an Entertainment coupon for BOGO entree. We came here for their brunch menu in mind, however we found out that they offered the brunch buffet which looks amazing. The waiter happily offered to take the coupon so we can get one free buffet. He also confirmed that we made the reservation online and told us we can get free champagne for doing so. That was fantastic customer service and I knew I would return to this place even before I tried their food.

I tried small bites of each cheese and it was quite interesting. I normally skip the cheese section and cold meats.

Jenny says:

  • I liked: french toast style banana bread, even more than the cakes at the dessert section, because it was very moist, flavourful and sweet. Waffles were crunchy unlike lots of waffles at other buffets. Salmon pastry; the salmon was a bit dry but I liked the flavours.
  • Use Entertainment coupon for buy one get one free entree (valid for brunch/brunch buffet/dinner)
  • Hearts (overall): 8.7/10
